"sorry, you can no longer be on the team." this is what kids hear when their grades to not meet the requirment for sports and other activities. this makes kids very upset and embarrassed. having kids need a decent grade for sports is a good idea because they will not want to be embarrassed , they will study harder, and they will be good at sports and grades for college.

"I'm sorry, yuor grades arent good enough for the sports team." T5yhis is a quote that all athectic kids don't want to hear. Most kids depend on there sports to get into good colleges and goood high schools. Schools shouldn't require decent graded form students who particpate in sports and after school activites because if a kid isn't smart then sports are something they look for in colleges, it will get kids fit, and if someone is bulling you, you can define yourself in case of trouble

This is very untrue. It doesn't matter how good you are at sports, without a good GPA and ACT score, a student athlete absolutley will not get into college.

Would you want your child to fail because they are focusing on sports and not schoo; work? Probably not. Kids need tofocus more on school work. School officials should requir good grades to be on a sports team because it keeps grades up, parents happy with their kids, and keeps kids working hard to stay on the team.

Beeeep!! That is the sound of the buzzer after the star playerscored for the last time because he had 1 bad grade. Do u think its fair because I don't. The kid would get extra practice and with bad grades then they wouldn't be good. The team would be down a player, you would be missed because your the star player, and they wouldn't get experience if they got kicked off the team.

"SHAZAM! I made another 3 points. Now I'm going to go study." This is what is supposed to come out of any school sport star's mouth. But most kids cannot play on the school basketball team because good grades are absent. School officials should require decent grades from students who play sports because it make them more active, it can help you in your future life, and it help you learn responsibility and trust in life.

"Your off the team!" That's what you hear when you child has been kicked off their sport team. Children think that all it takes to get into good colleges is how good they are at sports. School officials should require decent grades from students who participate in sports and other school activities because the students can be athletic, students can get into good colleges if they have good grades and if they are and athlete, and the students get better grades if they want to play.

Do you want your children to fail all their classes because there to busy with sports? I know I wouldn’t. Kids think that schoolwork isn’t important, and they will just be able to live their whole life by just play a sport. School officials should defiantly require decent grades for students to play on a sports team or an after school activity because this will make the children good role models, also kids will be able to possible get scholarships for college, and it will help with the team’s teamwork.

"If you would like to be a part of this team you need to focus on your grades." This is what a coach might say to the player who has a bad grade. Nobody wants to be in this situation. School officials should require decent grades from students who participate in sports and after school activities because it would be fair to those who have good grades, the player who gets kicked off can focus on their grade, and keeps students more detirmined about school.

"Yes! Another A, now i can play in tonights game!" This is what students should be saying, but instead kids dont put a lot of effort into their schoolwork. It is fair for school officials to require decent grades from students who participate in sports or other school activities because students will focas more on schoolwork, they will be punished if thier grades are poor, and they will becaome more responsible.

"Your not on the team anymore" is what coaches say to kids with bad grades. Kids don't study for tests or do schoolwork because they are to focused on playing sports. School officials should require decent grades from students who play sports because the student will study more if they want to be on the team, and they could get a scholarship.

Imagine children in after school activities with bad grades in their subjects and still going downhill. Do you want that to be your child? I certainly wouldn't. If students with bad grades are in after school activities, they may only focus on their activity and not their schoolwork. Students that participate in afterschool activities should be required to have decent grades because, the student will have an honest effort to keep their grades up, the student could get into a good college later in their life, and it will teach the child to be responsible.

"Yes! All over 70s i can stay on the team!"If students are required decent grades to be on a school team/activity it will keep the student determined to maintain good grades. School that require decent grades for studets to attend activities and sports have better grade averages than those schools who dont. School officials should require decent grades to students that are on a school team or activity so that students dont become lazy with school work, the good grades they maintain can help them in the future, and keep the students responsible.

"Yes above a 70 i can still play on the team." This is what you might here from a student on a school sports team. School officials should require decent grades to play on sports teams because it will keep kids motivated to get good grades, kids will try harder, and the students will begin to be responsible.

"Your off the team!" this is what many students are hearing these days. Many students are so worried about how they will do in s sport or club that they pay no attention to their school work. Schools should require decent grades from students who participate in sports and activities because students will discipline, they will work hard at their work so they can participate in the sport or activity they like, and students will have earned the spot in the team or club form their good grades

Dont you hate when your child brings home a failing test grade? The kids hate it too! If a child takes on too much activities, then the students grades will go down. School officials should require decent grades from students who participate in sports and school activities because grades wont go down due to sports, students grades will increase, and students will be accepted into more educational activities and groups due to good grades.

"Oh no i'm failing!" This is what comes out of most sports players mouths. School officials should require decent grades for students to participate in sports because they would pay more attention to grades, they would learn how to multitask and they will be more responsible.
